Literature, Nature, Peace, Poetry, Think About This

Stay in the shadows, stay in’

There was a time when new born
daughters were buried alive
returned to Mother Earth, still
breathing, unaware of life or kin
where is their place
where is their grace
where is their right
to breathe in space?

White or dark-coated or uncoated
admonished tortured preferred
uncovered-
No need for education
Saving face ‘or civilization’
Stay in the shadows stay in’
Your only status is the kitchen’

The worldly world of love
soft and woolly
The worldly world of ‘woolfy’
metallic and ‘bully’
Life cut short with the cord
dried blood with all richness
shining dark eyes darkened so
Death enforced in all fullness.
