a lie

when she said

she could fly

high  in the sky

Icarus was a friend

who took her to the

born of an egg

had a wing and

no pride nor malady

no fashion no styles

no gossip, all smiles

never used cream

always had a dream

not of prince charming

nor of a queen

ah no waltz or

any ballroom dance

but only a little jig

then all of a sudden

she rose to swing her hair

and down came the wig’

she woke up with a cry’

then oped’ her eye

and in the full length

mirror-er…I saw

it was no one else

but I
